About this course

Best industry practice for accurate measurements is to connect the DUT as directly to the test equipment. However, complex test setups such as with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) can dictate many devices; cables, attenuators, switches, couplers etc. to be used between the source and DUT. Many of today’s high-performance signal sources support several user calibration methods to compensate for the loss of signal routing in complex test setups.  Four different methods: power meter user flatness, automatic leveling control, and power meter servo configuration are introduced.  Each method is explained along with the configuration and use application.   The techniques allow you to get the most value from your source and other test equipment.
